In those cases, the repair requires filler and paint to seal the crack before the metal surface can be considered finished.
PDR access is the second major limitation. Most doors can be accessed through the opening at the window channel or through a small removed interior panel. Hood inner structures have pre-existing access holes. But some panels, particularly certain roof sections, thick door pillars, and reinforced trunk floors, have internal bracing that blocks the necessary rod angle.
